Grand River X-Wing Team Tournament

Team Rules

1. Teams must consist of four (4) players

2. There are no restrictions as to where your teammates must be from.  You can represent anything from a single region to four countries!

Squadbuilding Rules

1. Each team's squadrons must be from different factions.

   • Ex. two players on the same team could not both field Rebel squads.​

2. Each player must field a "Standard" format squad, following the most up-to-date points and rules issued by Atomic Mass Games.​

   • In the event a points update is issued in close-proximity to the event, your Team Captain (the ticket purchaser) will be contacted to clarify what points update will be in-use for the event.

3. Named pilots may be repeated across factions.​

   • Ex. A team fielding both Rebel and Scum squads may include "Fenn Rau" as a pilot in both squads.​

4. Each generic and limited upgrade may only be fielded by a single player following the standard squadbuilding rules.

   • Ex. "Juke" may be equipped any number of times in Player 1's squad, but cannot be present at all in the squads of Player 2, Player 3, or Player 4​

   • Ex. "Lone Wolf" - a single-limited upgrade - may only be equipped once in Player 1's squad, and cannot be present in the squads of Player 2, Player 3, or Player 4.

5. Faction-specific upgrades that share a name may be present across multiple squads.

   • Ex. Player 1 may field a list containing the Rebel "Chewbacca" upgrade card and Player 2 may field a list containing the Resistance "Chewbacca" upgrade card.​

Tournament Format

• The event will take place over four rounds.

• Before each round, the members on your team will be seeded (1-4) based on their performance in the event so far.

  • Round 1's seeding will be random.​

• Each round, your team will be paired up against another team, with individual player match-ups being determined based on each player's seed.​

  • For example, if you are currently the top seed on your team, you will be paired against the top seed of your opposing team.

• Winning a game earns three tournament points for that player's team, meaning each round your team could earn up to twelve (12) tournament points.​

• After four rounds of play, the team with the most tournament points will be declared the winner.​​

  • Ties will be broken firstly by "strength of schedule", and secondly by mission points accrued over the course of the event.
